About Our Firm

We are not only a leader in the legal profession, but our firm has been an important part of the history of Sioux Falls, the State of South Dakota and the South Dakota State Bar.

Boyce Law Firm traces its roots back to 1878, when founder Frank L. Boyce established the city’s first law firm in downtown Sioux Falls. According to George Kingsbury’s History of South Dakota, “Mr. Boyce was so well pleased with Dakota and so impressed with its future possibilities that he concluded to make this city his future home.”
